Volleyball Recap: Deer Park Comes Up Short

The Deer Park Wildcats didn't have quite enough to beat the Middletown Christian Eagles on Saturday and fell 2-1.

When it comes to explaining why Deer Park lost, don't look at Abby Beach. Despite the final result, she had 16 assists and 12 digs. Another player making a difference was Grace Louden, who had 13 digs.

Deer Park's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Middletown Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Deer Park will square off against Mariemont at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Middletown Christian, they will challenge New Miami at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
