Basketball Recap: Calvin Skates Past Graham/Dustin with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Canadian, Calvin was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 68-40 win over the Graham/Dustin RiverHawk. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the RiverHawk recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Several RiverHawk players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Henry Bennett, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 12 boards. Bennett has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. Colt Whitt was another key player, putting up six points in addition to 12 rebounds and eight blocks.

Calvin now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Graham/Dustin, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coincidentally, Calvin and Graham/Dustin will both be playing Midway the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Chargers at 7:30 p.m. on December 1, while the RiverHawk will host them at 7:30 p.m. on December 2.
