Softball Recap: Boiling Springs Takes a Loss

After flying high against Ephrata last Thursday, Boiling Springs came back down to earth. The Bubblers lost 12-2 to the Shippensburg Greyhounds on Monday. If the Bubblers were looking for revenge after losing 7-2 to the Greyhounds when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Peyton Lawyer made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 3-for-3.

Boiling Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Shippensburg, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Boiling Springs will take on rival Big Spring at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Shippensburg is set to face off against their familiar foe Northern York at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
