Soccer Recap: Coastal Brigade Extends Winning Streak to Three

Coastal Brigade entered their tilt with Christ Covenant on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 5-2 win. Coastal Brigade might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit Christ Covenant with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Tyler Green (2), Dru Giacomoni, Caleb Zimbelman, and Cody Martin.

Coastal Brigade's victory bumped their record up to 10-2-2. As for Christ Covenant, their defeat ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-9-1.

Coming up, Coastal Brigade will welcome Gramercy Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Christ Covenant, they will head out on the road to face off against Trinity Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Christ Covenant will be up against Trinity Christian's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.73 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
