Basketball Recap: Evansville Christian Eagles vs. Tell City Marksmen        
        
		
             After losing to Tell City the last time they met, Evansville Christian decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Evansville Christian Eagles managed  a  47-41 win over the Tell City Marksmen  on Saturday. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Eagles.
 Evansville Christian got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Bella Hall out in front who  scored eight points along with 12  rebounds and two  steals. Hall is  on a roll when it comes to  rebounds, as she's  now  pulled down nine or more in the last three games she's  played.  Peyton Geer was another key player,  going 5 for 12 en route to 13 points.
 Evansville Christian  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 11  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive rebounds in 15 consecutive  matches  dating back to last season.
 Despite the  defeat, Tell City saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Ollie Toothman  went 6 for 15 en route to 17 points plus six  rebounds and three  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most  points  Toothman has scored all season.
 Evansville Christian pushed their record up to 4-1 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.8 points per game. As for Tell City, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
 Evansville Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  58-43  defeat against North Knox on the 26th. Tell City has also  already played their next game,  a  39-20  victory against Pike Central on the 26th.
