Soccer Recap: Huntingdon Takes a Loss

Huntingdon was the 5-2 winner over McKenzie when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs fell just short of the Rebels by a score of 2-1 on Friday. Huntingdon just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

Huntingdon's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for McKenzie, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1-2.

Looking ahead, Huntingdon will head out on the road to square off against Westview at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Huntingdon will be up against Westview's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.14 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for McKenzie, they have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against South Fulton on the 15th.
