Soccer Recap: Severance Plays to a Tie + How To Watch

For the first time since back in August, Severance was forced to settle for a draw on Thursday. They and the Greeley West Spartans finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw. Both teams had to tread carefully at times as the refs weren't afraid to hand out yellow cards: Travis Griffin was handed one for Severance, while Greeley West got theirs courtesy of Ian Valdez.

Severance's goal came courtesy of Henry Phillips, who's now up to two this season.

Severance's draw makes their record 2-2-2 this season. Meanwhile, Greeley West's record is now 2-2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Severance will venture away from home to face off against Niwot at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greeley West, they will head out to take on Longmont at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
