Softball Recap: St. Margaret's Scotties vs. Saint Gertrude Gators

Sadly, St. Margaret is still looking for their first win of the season after four games. They wound up on the wrong side of a tough 16-0 walloping at the hands of the Saint Gertrude Gators on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to St. Margaret's of the 21-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture last Monday.

For Saint Gertrude's part, S Sims was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Sims was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3.
