 The Freeport Yellowjackets will be playing in front of their home fans against Eden Christian Academy at 4:15  p.m.  on Thursday. Both teams come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Freeport is headed into the  matchup fresh off scoring the most  runs they have all season. They walked away with  a   16-11  win over Highlands  on Wednesday. The  victory was some much needed relief for Freeport as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
 Meanwhile, Eden Christian Academy entered their tilt with Quaker Valley with three consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Quakers  on Monday and snuck past  7-6.
  Caleb Emswiler was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he  pitched 3.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Emswiler was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with a  home run and four  RBI.
 In other batting news, Eden Christian Academy let  Brady Hull and  Charlie Wolf loose on the outfield. Hull  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances, while  Wolf  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Freeport's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Eden Christian Academy, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won ten of their last 11 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record  this season.
