Recap: East Bernard Brahmas vs. Brazos Cougars
The East Bernard Brahmas were the 48-40 winner over the Brazos Cougars when they last played one another on January 5th, but their luck changed this time around. East Bernard took a hard 48-31 fall against the Cougars on Tuesday.
East Bernard's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Joshua Guthman, who scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Maddox Crist, who scored 11 points.
East Bernard's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Brazos, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-13.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Bernard will take on the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Harmony School of Discovery is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home. As for Brazos, they will head out on the road to square off against the Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
