Recap: Ringgold Rams vs. Clairton Bears
The Ringgold Rams were the 58-36 winner over the Clairton Bears when they last played one another back in December of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. Ringgold lost to Clairton at home by a decisive 64-49 margin on Saturday. While losing is never fun, Ringgold can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 333rd, while Clairton is ranked 157th).
Among those leading the charge was DaShawn Hines, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 14 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Qua?jon Miller, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds.
Ringgold bumped their record down to 1-1 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Clairton, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ringgold will take on Albert Gallatin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Albert Gallatin focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Tuesday. As for Clairton, they will be playing at home against Brownsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
