Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sandhills Valley). They blew past the Brady Eagles 77-40 on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Mavericks with their most commanding win of the season.

Sandhills Valley's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kyle Kramer, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 14 rebounds. Those 22 points gave Kramer a new career-high. Leyton Connell was another key player, going 6 for 15 en route to 16 points in addition to eight steals and five assists.

Sandhills Valley was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Brady only racked up six assists.

Brady's loss came despite strong showings from Cinch Sanger and Brody Telitz. Sanger went 9 of 18 on his way to 19 points and three steals, while Telitz posted 11 points and six boards. Sanger is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Dylan Norby also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

The victory (which was Sandhills Valley's fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.4 points per game. As for Brady, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-15.

Sandhills Valley will challenge Sandhills/Thedford at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sandhills Valley has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Brady has already played their next game (against Wallace), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
