Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sandhills Valley). They blew past the Brady Eagles 77-40 on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Mavericks with their most commanding win of the season.
Sandhills Valley's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kyle Kramer, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 14 rebounds. Those 22 points gave Kramer a new career-high. Leyton Connell was another key player, going 6 for 15 en route to 16 points in addition to eight steals and five assists.
Sandhills Valley was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Brady only racked up six assists.
