Softball Game Preview: Valley Head Tigers vs. North Sand Mountain Bison

Valley Head hasn't had much luck against North Sand Mountain recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bison at 4:30 p.m. Valley Head has given up an average of 9.1 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Valley Head lost 15-3 to Ider on Tuesday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Valley Head saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lexi Coffman, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, North Sand Mountain came up short against North Jackson on Tuesday and fell 6-1. The loss continues a trend for the Bison in their meetings with the Chiefs: they've now lost six in a row.

North Sand Mountain now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Valley Head, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-17-2.
