Softball Recap: Pojoaque Valley Comes Up Short

Pojoaque Valley lost against Bernalillo on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes lost 14-4 to the Bernalillo Spartans. That's two games in a row now that the Elks/Elkettes have lost by exactly ten runs.

Allayah Rios made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Izabella Lujan also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

This is the second loss in a row for Pojoaque Valley and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Bernalillo, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Pojoaque Valley will take on Bloomfield at 2:00 p.m. on March 20th. As for Bernalillo, they will face off against Grants at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
