Soccer Recap: V.R. Eaton Takes a Loss

After flying high against Northwest on Tuesday, V.R. Eaton came back down to earth. The Eagles fell just short of the Bell Blue Raiders by a score of 1-0 on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Bell this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in January.

V.R. Eaton has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9-1 record this season. As for Bell, their win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9-2.

Looking ahead, V.R. Eaton will host Keller Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bell, they will square off against Northwest at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bell will be up against Northwest's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.14 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
