Seton Catholic had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They never let the La Center Wildcats get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won 13 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Seton Catholic pushed their record up to 21-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.4 runs on average over those games. As for La Center, with the defeat, they broke their 17-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-4.

As of now, neither Seton Catholic nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
