Softball Recap: Cocoa Comes Up Short

Cocoa fell victim to Astronaut and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 19-0 to the War Eagles. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the War Eagles: they've now lost eight in a row.

Cocoa's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-6. As for Astronaut, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Cocoa will face off against Cocoa Beach at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Astronaut, they will head out to face off against Space Coast at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
