Volleyball Recap: Wright Comes Up Short

Wright lost against Sheridan back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Broncs.

Jocelyn Umiker paced Wright's offense, picking up five kills. Umiker got some help from Emilie Martinez-Reyes and her eight assists. Tara Williams controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Wright's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Sheridan, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-5 record this season.

Wright didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Campbell County on the 6th. As for Sheridan, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Tongue River on the 6th.
