Football Recap: West Hills Starts Season with Loss at Home + How To Watch

West Hills unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 44-19 to the Holtville Vikings on Friday. The Wolf Pack were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-7.

Several Wolf Pack players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Evin Dill, who rushed for 34 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 124 yards and one TD while completing 81.2% of his passes. Anthony Rosolino was Dill's top target, picking up 30 receiving yards, while also rushing for 39 yards and one score.

Enrique Armas had a dynamite game For Holtville., rushing for 262 yards and three TDs while picking up 12.5 yards per carry. Armas has been hot, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last six times he's played.

Looking ahead, West Hills will venture away from home to take on University City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Holtville, they will head out to square off against Mission Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
