Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Countryside walked away with it. They breezed by the Pinellas Park Patriots to the tune of 74-12 on Tuesday. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.

Countryside was led to victory by Alyssa Wright and Olivia DeSano. Wright went 6 for 8 en route to 15 points along with eight assists and five steals, while DeSano went 8 of 11 on her way to 20 points. Wright's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Julia Smith, who posted seven points in addition to seven assists and three steals.

Countryside smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in four consecutive games.

Countryside has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.9 points per game. As for Pinellas Park, they are on an 18-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.

Countryside has already played their next matchup, a 56-42 win against St. Petersburg on the 6th. Pinellas Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
