Basketball Recap: Purchase Line Comes Up Short

Purchase Line played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Northern Cambria Colts, falling 63-30. The defeat continues a trend for the Red Dragons in their matchups with the Colts: they've now lost seven in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Purchase Line lost, don't look at Jakob Mountain. Despite the final result, he went 5 of 11 en route to 13 points and six rebounds. Mountain is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played.

Purchase Line's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Northern Cambria, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.

Purchase Line will welcome Homer-Center at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northern Cambria, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Conemaugh Valley at 7:15 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
