Softball Recap: Georgetown Comes Up Short

After flying high against Negreet on Friday, Georgetown came back down to earth. The Bulldogs lost 22-7 to the Peabody Warhorses on Monday. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warhorses earlier this season, when they won 6-2.

Georgetown now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Peabody, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.

Georgetown has already played their next contest, a 15-3 victory against Dodson on the 17th. As for Peabody, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 15-5 loss against Zwolle on the 17th.
