Pinecrest Academy has won ten straight games at home, while The King's Academy has won ten straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Thursday. The Paladins will host the Knights at 5:00 p.m. Pinecrest Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 6.5 goals per game this season.

Last Wednesday, Pinecrest Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Norcross, taking the game 3-1. Given Pinecrest Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked eighth, while Norcross are ranked 46th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Fia Del Balzo and Portia DeFehr scored all three of Pinecrest Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 37 goals.

Meanwhile, The King's Academy kept a clean sheet against Fideles Christian on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Rangers with a sharp 6-0 win. The result was nothing new for The King's Academy, who have now won eight games by three goals or more so far this season.

The King's Academy's victory bumped their record up to 10-0-1. As for Pinecrest Academy, their win bumped their record up to 17-1.

Pinecrest Academy beat The King's Academy by a goal in their previous meeting back in April of 2023, winning 1-0. Do the Paladins have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
