Basketball Recap: Taft School Takes a Loss

Taft School was the 79-52 winner over Frederick Gunn when they last played one another back in January of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Taft School Big Red took a 50-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Frederick Gunn Highlanders on Friday.

Among those leading the charge was Kas Mirza, who posted 11 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrien Quiros, who scored seven points.

Taft School's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Frederick Gunn, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.

Taft School has already played their next contest (against Choate Rosemary Hall School), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Frederick Gunn didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-58 loss against Pomfret School on the 25th.
