Sandusky falls despite strong effort from Mae Rameau

The Sandusky Blue Streaks were the 56-51 winner over the Perkins Pirates when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Sandusky took a 41-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Perkins.

Despite the loss, Sandusky still got an impressive performance from Mae Rameau, who scored 14 points along with five steals. Another player making a difference was Ra'kiya Collier, who scored six points along with eight rebounds and two steals.

Sandusky now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Perkins, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sandusky will challenge Scott at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Perkins, they will head out on the road to face off against Port Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Ohio (Port Clinton is ranked 199th, while Perkins is ranked 183rd).
