Football Recap: Castle View Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Castle View blew ThunderRidge out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday ThunderRidge got their revenge. The Sabercats fell just short of the Grizzlies by a score of 13-10. Surprisingly, this marked the Sabercats' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Despite the loss, Castle View still got an impressive performance from Carter Henman, who rushed for 207 yards and one TD while picking up 7.1 yards per carry.

Among those leading the charge was Caeden Reeder, who threw for 182 yards and a pair of touchdowns. His passing game has become a key predictor of ThunderRidge's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-5 otherwise.

Castle View now has a losing record of 4-5. As for ThunderRidge, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-5.

Coming up, Castle View will venture away from home to square off against Mountain Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Sabercats will need to watch out since the Golden Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last six games. As for ThunderRidge, they will look to defend their home field on the 31st against Fruita Monument at 7:30 p.m. The Grizzlies will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.11 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
