Football Recap: Castle View Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Castle View blew ThunderRidge out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday ThunderRidge got their revenge. The Sabercats fell just short of the Grizzlies by a score of 13-10. Surprisingly, this marked the Sabercats' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Despite the loss, Castle View still got an impressive performance from Carter Henman, who rushed for 207 yards and one score while picking up 7.1 yards per carry.

ThunderRidge can attribute much of their success to Caeden Reeder, who threw for 182 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Reeder's passing game has become a key predictor of the Grizzlies' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-5 otherwise.

Castle View now has a losing record of 4-5. As for ThunderRidge, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-5.

Castle View wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 56-7 loss against Mountain Vista on the 30th. As for ThunderRidge, they will host Fruita Monument at 7:30 p.m. on the 31st. The Grizzlies will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.11 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
