Soccer Recap: Carson Comes Up Short

Carson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the South Rowan Raiders. Carson were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced South Rowan earlier this season, when they won 6-1.

Carson's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for South Rowan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-10-1.

Coming up, Carson will head out on the road to take on Central Cabarrus at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for South Rowan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jay M. Robinson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
