Soccer Recap: Carson Takes a Loss

Carson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the South Rowan Raiders. Carson were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced South Rowan earlier this season, when they won 6-1.

Carson's goal came courtesy of Josue Garcia, which was the first he's scored this season.

Carson's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for South Rowan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-10-1.

Carson has already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Central Cabarrus on the 8th. As for South Rowan, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-2 loss against Jay M. Robinson on the 9th.
