Softball Recap: Ball Takes a Loss

Ball fell victim to Aubrey and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Aubrey Chaparrals by a score of 1-0. The Tornadoes' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it eight in a row.

Ball saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Hopkins, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Ball's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Aubrey, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Ball didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-6 defeat against Socorro on the 20th. As for Aubrey, they will be taking part in a tournament against Ingleside at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Ingleside will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
