The home team had come away the winner the last six times Crestwood and Hazleton Area had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Comets took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 42-15 victory over the Cougars. The Comets haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Jaden Shedlock threw for 92 yards and one touchdown. Gio Barna was his top target, picking up 51 receiving yards.

Crestwood now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Hazleton Area, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Crestwood will head out to take on Dallas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hazleton Area, they will venture away from home to square off against Pittston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars will need to watch out since the Patriots have now posted at least 31 points in their last five contests.
