Softball Recap: Grayslake North Knights vs. Vernon Hills Cougars
Grayslake North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Vernon Hills Cougars. Grayslake North was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Vernon Hills apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2021.
Grayslake North saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lauren Gaeding, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
