Soccer Recap: Rockingham County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Rockingham County challenged Eastern Guilford on Tuesday. The Cougars fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1. Surprisingly, this marked Rockingham County's fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Their goal came courtesy of Eli Willard, which was the first he's scored this season.

Rockingham County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-1. As for Eastern Guilford, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7-1.

Rockingham County has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Morehead on the 1st. As for Eastern Guilford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 6-2 loss against Eastern Randolph on the 25th.
