West Shore Christian Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They strolled past Millersburg with points to spare, taking the game 54-39. For West Shore Christian Academy, this counts as revenge for the 60-48 defeat Millersburg walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.
Kamdyn Heintzelman and Carter Sass certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Heintzelman scored 17 points along with 3 steals, while Sass scored 8 points along with 6 rebounds. Heintzelman scored a full 43.6% of Millersburg's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
West Shore Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Millersburg, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
West Shore Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Mount Calvary Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 14th. As for Millersburg, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Annville-Cleona at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
