Basketball Recap: Pecatonica Gets the Win

After losing to Wisconsin Heights the last time they met, Pecatonica decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Pecatonica Vikings escaped with a win on Tuesday against the Wisconsin Heights Vanguards by the margin of a single free throw, 77-76. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Pecatonica's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Wisconsin Heights, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pecatonica will take on Boscobel at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pecatonica is facing Boscobel at the right time seeing as Boscobel is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Wisconsin Heights, they will venture away from home to square off against Waterloo at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Wisconsin Heights will also cruise into their next matchup with the timing on their side: Waterloo will have lost 18 straight heading into Thursday's contest.
