It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Owyhee had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They came out on top against the Capital Golden Eagles by a score of 45-33. The victory continues a trend for the Storm in their matchups with the Golden Eagles: they've now won seven in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Owyhee to victory, but perhaps none more so than Riley Beck, who shot 55% from the field to rack up 13 points in addition to six boards and four blocks. Another player making a difference was Mikale Roy, who went 5-for-11 on her way to 13 points and eight rebounds.

Owyhee smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in four consecutive matchups.

Owyhee's win bumped their record up to 23-2. As for Capital, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-14.
