Volleyball Recap: Central Wildcats vs. Bob Jones Patriots
Central's tournament run continued when they took on Bob Jones on Saturday. The Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Ta'Maya Coman paced Central's offense, picking up nine kills. Coman got some help from Elliot Neal and her eight assists. Coman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
Central's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Bob Jones, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4.
Coming up, Central will venture away from home to square off against Brooks at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bob Jones, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Kate Duncan Smith DAR on the 30th.
