Basketball Recap: Robbinsdale Armstrong's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Robbinsdale Armstrong came into Saturday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They snuck past the Robbinsdale Cooper Hawks with a 69-63 win on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Falcons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Robbinsdale Armstrong's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Robbinsdale Cooper, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Robbinsdale Armstrong and Osseo will compete for holiday cheer at 7:10 p.m. on Tuesday. Osseo knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Robbinsdale Armstrong likes a good challenge. As for Robbinsdale Cooper, they will be home for the holidays to greet DeLaSalle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. DeLaSalle will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Robbinsdale Cooper surely won't give up without a fight.
