Adding to the longest winning streak in Northern Indiana this week, Penn beat Mishawaka 28-7. The win marks ninth in a row for the the Kingsmen.
South Bend Washington fell to South Bend St. Joseph 42-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Tyler White was a bright spot for the Panthers, as he threw for 76 yards and ran for 37 yards in the loss.
The Indians' Matthew Monserez and Denton Gillis led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-6 quarterback Monserez has thrown for 1,529 yards this season, while Gillis has 38 catches for 650 yards. Elkhart Central's Joe Phillips leads the league in rushing yards with 795.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when South Bend Washington takes on South Bend Clay. Jay Johnson's team is currently in ninth, while the Colonials are in eighth.
South Bend St. Joseph led Northern Indiana in scoring this week by notching 42 points on the Panthers.
