Basketball Recap: Julez Brown Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Poquoson

Tabb won the last time they faced Poquoson and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Tabb Tigers put the hurt on the Poquoson Islanders with a sharp 64-43 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Tigers have posted since January 10th.

Tabb's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Julez Brown led the charge by putting up 13 points in addition to six assists and three steals. Those six assists gave Brown a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of James Mueller, who posted 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Brown wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Tabb was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive games.

Tabb's win bumped their record up to 5-18. As for Poquoson, their defeat was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-17.

As of now, neither Tabb nor Poquoson have any future games scheduled.
