A Season-Best Effort from Alarion Russell Leads Bryan over Benson
On Friday, Bryan got the W thanks in part to Alarion Russell playing the best football he has all season. Russell rushed for 177 yards and five touchdowns on only 14 carries.
With the victory, Bryan broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5. Russell and Bryan will square off against Lincoln East at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

Bryan was led to victory by Isaiah Morgan, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Morgan rushed for 240 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.6 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Benson's probably not too fond of Morgan given he always seems to get the better of them. When Morgan last faced the Bunnies back in September of 2023, he rushed for 146 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries.

Zaire Lagrone Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Kearney got the W thanks in part to Zaire Lagrone playing the best football he has all season. Lagrone picked up 77 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 37 yards and a touchdown. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 77 yards.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Kearney, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. Lagrone and Kearney will take on Columbus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Campbell Made His Presence Known in Lincoln East's 27-14 Victory
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Kyle Campbell stepped things up a notch to give Lincoln East the 'W'. Campbell was unstoppable, rushing for 38 yards and two touchdowns.
Campbell's next match is against Bryan on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort. Campbell will face off against Isaiah Morgan on Friday, the Bears' star rusher. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
