Northside put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the North Forest Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 14-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-1 back in March.

Coco Hernandez made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, Jesus Delosreyes and Jermy Castillo did most of the damage at the plate: Delosreyes scored a run and stole three bases while going 2-for-2, while Castillo scored two runs and stole four bases while going 1-for-3. Castillo is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last seven games he's played. Chris Huerta was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Northside always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .593. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .553 or higher in 12 consecutive matchups.

Northside's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-0. As for North Forest, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northside will host Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for North Forest, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Scarborough at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th. The Bulldogs are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
