Soccer Preview: Meridian vs. Kuna
Meridian and Kuna are an even 3-3-4 against one another since September of 2017, but likely not for long. The Meridian Warriors will face off against the Kuna Kavemen at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meridian will be strutting in after a victory while Kuna will be coming in after a defeat.
Meridian is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They came out on top against Capital by a score of 6-4 on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak.
Meanwhile, Kuna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against Timberline, falling 3-0. That's two games in a row now that the Kavemen have lost by exactly three goals.
Meridian's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Kuna, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9-1.
