Northview waltzed into their match on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. Everything went their way against the Edgewood Mustangs as they made off with a 70-46 win. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 24 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Northview to victory, but perhaps none more so than Avery Perry, who went 6-for-9 on his way to 13 points and four steals. Perry is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Brayden Goff, who went 8-for-13 en route to 18 points and five steals.

Northview was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Edgewood only seven assists.

Despite the defeat, Edgewood saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Caden Jones went 6-for-11 to rack up 16 points and seven boards. Carl Norris was another key player, putting up eight points.

Northview's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-1. As for Edgewood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.

Northview will square off against Terre Haute North Vigo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Edgewood, they are taking a road trip to challenge Mitchell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
