Casey-Westfield waltzed into their matchup on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Villa Grove Blue Devils. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warriors have posted since October 24, 2024.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Casey-Westfield who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-18, 23-25, 25-7.

Anna Karras paced Casey-Westfield's offense, picking up nine kills. Karras got some help from Haley Schackmann and her 15 assists. Schackmann was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.
