            Lincoln Southeast is 2-8 against Omaha Westside since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. The Lincoln Southeast Knights will host the Omaha Westside Warriors  at 5:30  p.m.
On Saturday, Lincoln Southeast was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap  as they fell  43-39 to Marian. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Omaha Westside waltzed into their game  on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Vikings as they made off with  a  72-48 win. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six  matches by 22  points or more this season.
Omaha Westside found their leader in freshman  Himayajo Metoyer, who  went 9 for 20  on her way to 22 points and five  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kimora Jenkins, who  went 7 of 11  to rack up 18  points.
 Omaha Westside  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 12  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least 12  offensive boards in six consecutive  contests.
 Omaha Westside's victory was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 13-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 63.3 points over those games. As for Lincoln Southeast, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.
 Lincoln Southeast was able to grind out a solid  win over Omaha Westside when the teams last played  back in February of 2024, winning  51-40. Will Lincoln Southeast repeat their success,  or does  Omaha Westside have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
