Softball Recap: Sherman Takes a Loss

Sherman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the De Kalb Bears.

Sherman's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for De Kalb, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.

Sherman has already played their next contest, a 10-1 loss against Royse City on the 28th. As for De Kalb, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 14-1 victory against McKinney North on the 28th.
