Basketball Game Preview: Kingman Academy Tigers vs. Williams Vikings

The Kingman Academy Tigers are taking a road trip to take on the Williams Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Monday, Kingman Academy strolled past Kingman with points to spare, taking the game 53-35. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kingman Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jordan Fager, who almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine boards. The dominant performance also gave Fager a new career-high in assists (six). Baylor Short was another key player, putting up 11 points and four steals.

Meanwhile, Williams didn't have too much trouble with Ash Fork on Thursday as they won 54-37.

Kingman Academy's record now sits at 2-3. As for Williams, their record is now 6-2.

Everything came up roses for Kingman Academy against Williams in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 69-28 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
