Volleyball Recap: Windham Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Windham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Lyman Memorial Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Windham actually scored more points across those four sets (94-87), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 10-25, 27-25, 25-23.

Joycedalee Perez paced Windham's offense, picking up ten kills. Perez got some help from Aaliyah Sanchez and her 23 assists. Sanchez was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Windham's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Lyman Memorial, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Windham will square off against Bolton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lyman Memorial, they will challenge Sacred Heart Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
