Basketball Recap: Wesleyan Triumphs

Wesleyan's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 52-51 photo finish over the Fellowship Christian Paladins. The win continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Paladins: they've now won three in a row.

Ben Erb produced another solid performance shooting 88% from the field on his way to 21 points and six boards. The game was his fourth in a row with at least 15 points. Luke Wilson also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

Wesleyan's victory bumped their record up to 8-16. As for Fellowship Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-14.

Coincidentally, Wesleyan and Fellowship Christian will both be playing King's Ridge Christian the next time they take the court. The Paladins will host the Tigers at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Wolves will host them at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
