Basketball Recap: Burgin Comes Up Short

Burgin lost against West Jessamine on February 4th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Burgin Bulldogs were dealt a 72-26 loss at the hands of the West Jessamine Colts. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 181st, while the Colts are ranked 24th).

Burgin's defeat dropped their record down to 12-14. As for West Jessamine, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 23-7.

As of now, neither Burgin nor West Jessamine have any future games scheduled.
